Spending the day Down Town

One of our family's favorite things to do is go down town. If you have visited us, you probably already know that, because there is a good chance we took you there. They have great restaurants and a great park. Very family friendly.

Alexandria at 1 Month

Here are some pictures of Ali at one month old. One of the great parts about having a baby, is we get lots of visitors. Grandma Jocko came and stayed for a week, Paige and Glen, Grandma Shelley and Grandpa Bob, and Grandpa and Grandma Burton. It was nice to have the extra hands around. The only problem was, I did not take any pictures of Ali with anyone. Even though Ali is the easiest baby, I did not realize what a difference 3 kids would be.

Little Red Ridinghood

It rained the whole time Grandma Shelley and Grandpa Bob were in town, so one day we went to Jump Zone (inflatable toys) to get some energy out!

Happy Birthday Owen!!

Our Little Monster turned three years old on October 11th. It's hard to believe he is already that old!! He is such a mischievous little guy, who does whatever he wants and doesn't care what anyone says or thinks. He can be such a little stinker, but can be so easily forgiven when he comes to you with those big blue eyes and his great big hugs. He is his big brother's biggest fan and his little sister's best "babysitter"

This is the kind of cake you get for your Birthday when you send Dad and a three year old out to get it.

Owen pretty happy about the huge cake for a family of 4.5

Luckily we were able to round up some neighbors to help celebrate the big day!!

Since he was too busy crying over his Birthday cake when he turned one (it was ice cream cake and I guess too cold) We could not get too upset when he smashed this cake all over his face.

School Days, School Days....

Owen's first year of preschool and Briggs' 3rd. Good thing big brother was there to show him the ropes. Briggs is going 3 times a week and Owen goes 2 times a week and then one day a week to a little group we have with some church friends. They are both still taking naps (most days) so it make it nice for me to be able to survive with three kids. They both love school. Briggs is still Mr. Social. Owen still struggles some days to go, but loves it once he is there and he has a wonderful teacher too.

Dog Days of Summer

Here are a few pictures of the last days of summer. We had a great summer! We spent many hours at the neighborhood pool. By the end of the summer Owen was doing flips off the diving board (Mr. no fear of anything but the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause) and Briggs could swim across the pool by himself. We are so proud of our little men, they are growing up too fast

The boys loved going to the pool with their dad. He would actually play with them in the water instead of just float.

Back from Maternity Leave

Now that it has been 2 months since we had sweet little Ali, I thought I needed to get with the program and get all caught up on our latest adventures before the holidays are here!!
I will start with the most important and then catch up with the rest...
Weighing in at 7lbs 13oz, Alexandria was born 09/09/09 at 9:14am (if the doctor would have been a bit quicker with the C-section down the hall we could have had her at 9:09am) Ali was so ready to come into this world she basically pushed herself out. The doctor said she was the easiest baby he had delivered! Luckily for mom she continues to be an easy baby! She has been so good! As long as she is Fed, clean bottom, and I eat bland food, she is as happy as can be! We love having a little baby girl in our home. Mom is loving all the girly things, Dad is loving having a little princess, and the boys are loving having a little sister to kiss and hold. She is perfect!!
